Pine Meadow is a 40-unit apartment complex for independent adults aged 50 years and older. Our retirement community offers gracious living accommodations, extraordinary special services, enjoyable social activities and the freedom of independent living.
Comfortable living and an emphasis on personal-life interests is what makes Rosalia Gardens the perfect home for those who need some assistance with daily activities yet prefer to live independently and make their own decisions.
Horizon Adult Day Center
Horizon Adult Day Center is a community program designed to provide a home-away-from-home atmosphere for older adults who are frail or have a condition causing confusion and memory loss. The center provides a variety of health and social support services in a secure setting.
At the same time, it offers families respite from care giving and helps them to keep their loved one at home among familiar surroundings for as long as possible.
Staff at the Horizon Adult Day Center are Certified Nursing Assistants. The well-trained and compassionate staff provide assistance with personal care as well as supervising and facilitating activities to stimulate the mind.
Horizon engages participants in simple social and recreational activities in a safe and caring environment. From a coffee clutch in the morning where staff reads the paper and talks about current events to a daily exercise program designed for older adults, participants are encouraged to become involved in social interaction, card games or a visit from a community group.
Participants enjoy a balanced meal catered by Langlade Memorial Hospital The lunch, as well as two snacks, are planned by a Registered Dietitian.
