Dr. Rick Perkins, OB/GYN joins
Aspirus General Clinic medical staff

 

(ANTIGO, WI)—(July 11, 2007)—Rick L. Perkins, M.D is now seeing patients at the Aspirus General Clinic in Antigo.  While Dr. Perkins specializes in the practice of obstetrics and gynecology, his primary focus at Aspirus General Clinic will be on gynecology, high risk pregnancy consultation and gynecological surgery.


Dr. Perkins held his practice at St. Michaels Hospital in Stevens Point where he served as Chief of OB/Gyn.  Prior to that he served in the US Army in Fort Knox/Desert Storm for eight years.  Dr. Perkins received his medical degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia and completed his internship and residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

He has earned awards and recognition, which include Medical School Honors in Ob/Gyn and Psychiatry, Army Achievement Medal and Kuwait Liberation Medal.  He belongs to numerous professional organizations, the American Medical Association, he is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Portage County Medical Society. 


Dr. Perkins and his wife, Judy, have three children, Katherine; Brian; and Brad.  Dr. Perkins enjoys gardening, hunting, golfing and traveling.
Patients can begin scheduling appointments with Dr. Perkins now by calling the Aspirus General Clinic appointment desk at (715) 623-2351.  Dr. Perkins will be seeing patients in Antigo on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
